Flowers and Trees brings together photographic works devoted to the quiet yet multifaceted presence of nature. Through diverse approaches—ranging from pure photography to hybrid image forms that incorporate other media—the artists explore the forms, structures, and rhythms of plant life. The works move between documentation and poetic interpretation, opening new perspectives on familiar motifs. In this way, a visual reflection emerges on growth, transience, and the fragile relationship between humans and nature.

FLOATING BONDS takes you into the mysterious world of seahorses – ancient creatures regarded as the “barometers of the sea”. They possess astonishing abilities: males become pregnant, they can change sex in times of need, and they merge seamlessly with their surroundings through color adaptation. With her overpainted and extended photographs, Regina Anzenberger transforms these little marvels into a fascinating manifesto – somewhere between alien and unicorn.
The exhibition was part of RotLicht Festival for analog photography in Vienna and three additional works can be seen with the exhibition UNDER WATER at WestLicht photo museum from March 13 until May 17, 2026
