»A Lifetime«
by Annet van der Voort

The still prevailing ideals about beauty and youth are thus placed next to the natural aging process that everyone goes through: an idealized image is linked through time with a face upon which life has left its mark. Is it possible that we are dealing with the same women? How long can beauty be maintained? What does our mortality do with us? This series holds up a mirror to the spectator.
