The AnzenbergerGallery was founded by Regina Maria Anzenberger in 2002 and presents itself here for the first time as an independent online photography gallery.
After many years of success in the field of editorial photography with the AnzenbergerAgency and loving the arts, founding a gallery has just seemed natural.
The AnzenbergerAgency was established in 1989 and has been representing international photographers in the fields of photojournalism, documentation, reportage and portrait since then. Clients include magazines like The New York Times, National Geographic magazine, Geo, Stern, Vogue, New Yorker, Aperture, Le Monde, etc.
Many of the photographers represented are known internationally and regularly have exhibitions in galleries and museums worldwide. Most also publish photo books in prestigious houses.
The AnzenbergerGallery is offering a selection of high-quality contemporary and vintage black & white and color fine art prints. Mostly black & white photographs are on silver gelatin prints and color photographs are on different materials like lambda prints, giclée or Iris prints. The quality always conforms to the highest archival standards.
Prints will be signed on the front or back according to the photographer's preferences. Sometimes the photographs are mounted on acid-free archival cardboard or on aluminium. They can be delivered unmatted and unframed, but also with mat and/or frame.
Prices range from Euro 300,- to Euro 10.000,- .
A novelty is the cooperation in the field of fine art prints with the Austrian National Library. Since 2003 the Agency offers historical photographs in form of silver gelatine prints from the work of Ferdinand Schmutzer (also see Photographers International „Ferdinand Schmutzer – A Photographic Discovery“).
In our showrooms at Zeinlhofergasse 7 there are regular exhibitions of our photographers but we also organize exhibitions worldwide at photo festivals, in galleries, museums or public places.
